Terms of Service

1. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and in the United States. Trade Coach is currently a private beta: access is by invitation, and it is free while plans are being tested. We may change, pause or end the beta, or any feature, at any time.

2. Not financial advice

Trade Coach is an educational tool that analyzes decisions you have already made. It does not recommend buying, selling or holding any security, doesn’t give price targets or predictions, and doesn’t consider your full financial situation. We are not a broker, investment adviser or financial planner. Labels such as your “trader type” and the checks on your habits are descriptions of past trades, not judgments of your ability or suggestions of what to do next. Investment decisions are yours alone; consider a licensed professional for advice.

3. Accuracy

The numbers come from the trades you add and from third-party price data, and the written explanations are produced by AI from those numbers. Files can be read imperfectly, data providers can be wrong or late, and AI can make mistakes even with our checks. Trade Coach may be incomplete or inaccurate, so don’t rely on it as your official record: your brokerage statements are.

4. Your account and your data

• Keep access to your email account secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
• Add only your own trades, or trades you have the right to add, and nothing unlawful. Your trade data stays yours; you allow us to store and process it only to provide Trade Coach to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• You can delete your trade history at any time from My trades.

5. Sharing features

If you publish a trader-type card or a public trade log, anyone with the link can see what you chose to include. You’re responsible for what you share, and you can remove it at any time; copies others made before you removed it are outside our control.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t:

• try to access other people’s accounts or data, or get around sign-in, plan limits or security;
• overload, scrape, copy or resell the service or its data, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
• upload malicious files or content, or use Trade Coach to break any law.

We may suspend or close access that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

7. Third-party content

Stock prices, company filings and news headlines come from third parties. Headlines are shown with a link to their source, which we don’t control. Brokerage names appear only to describe which file formats Trade Coach can read; we’re not affiliated with or endorsed by any brokerage. Lens names are our own and not associated with any real investor.

8. Plans and payment

During the beta there’s no billing; you may switch plans to try features. If we start charging, we’ll show the price and terms before you pay, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

9. Disclaimers and limits of liability

Trade Coach is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including trading or investment losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose or US $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Ending

You can stop using Trade Coach and delete your data at any time. We may end your access, with notice where reasonable. Sections 2, 3, 9 and this one continue to apply afterwards.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we’ll change the date above and tell you in the app or by email before significant changes take effect. Continuing to use Trade Coach afterwards means you accept them. Questions: the email address of the person who invited you to the beta.
